Every client conversation
in one place.
Clients message your firm on personal phones, in chats, and through whoever answered last. SimpliChat gives your team one business line and one inbox, and files every conversation into Clio.
Scattered across phones and people
One line, one inbox, filed in Clio
Clio is the hub. Client conversations aren’t in it.
Clio holds the firm’s contacts and matters. The conversations with those clients live on phones and in chats, spread across the team. Getting them into the file means someone copying them by hand.
SimpliChat connects the two. Clients keep writing where they already write. Your team works from one shared inbox. Clio gets the record. The firm authorizes an application we own — we do not sit in the firm as a billed Clio user.
What your firm gets
-
One business line
We set up a business line for the firm on the channel clients already use. No more client threads on personal phones.
-
The whole team on one line
Several people can serve the same client without stepping on each other. Every reply shows who sent it.
-
Filed in Clio
Conversations are matched to the right contact and matter, and written to Clio at the end of each day.
-
A daily digest
An end-of-day email of every client conversation, with optional AI summaries, so the lead attorney sees everything.

Clio, 00014-Rivera
One noteFriday — Rivera
9:18 AM Client: Did the court set a date yet?
9:40 AM Firm: Not yet. I’ll message you when it posts.
4:12 PM Client: Can you send the date for the next appearance?
4:14 PM Firm: Tuesday the 14th, 9:30.
4:15 PM Client: Perfect, thank you.
How it works
Three steps. Nothing on the receive path writes to Clio.
-
1 Receive
A client messages the firm’s line. Everyone on the team can see the thread right away. Filing waits.
-
2 Resolve
One contact, one open matter — file there. Shared numbers and extra matters wait for a person. A pick is remembered for the firm.
-
3 File
After end of day, each client’s conversation is written to Clio. A late note is better than a duplicate.
One inbox for the whole team
Threads are grouped by client, not by who picked up. Anyone on the team can reply and attach a file, and every reply shows who sent it. Replies go out on the same channel the client used.
Preferred language is a staff setting — English or Spanish. If the client writes in the other, a reply can be translated before it sends. The original stays on the record.
See the whole day at a glance
At the end of the day, an optional digest email recaps every client conversation, with AI summaries if the firm turns them on. The lead attorney sees what happened across all clients without opening a single thread.
In Clio, each client’s day is one tidy entry on the matter, not a stack of fragments. The day follows the firm’s timezone.
What it does not do
-
It does not create, edit, or delete matters.
-
It does not guess when a number is shared, or when more than one matter is open.
-
It does not write a note per message.
-
It does not retry a Clio write that may have already landed.
Each firm is its own tenant. Staff see only their firm. The firm can revoke the application in Clio at any time. Revoking stops new writes. It does not delete notes already in Clio.
